Summary
EmoteJelly is a Windows app that runs entirely on your computer. It has no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Our code does not send anything over the internet. We (RiverMountain Studio) do not collect personal information through the app.

What the app keeps on your computer
These files are created only on your own PC, in the app's data folder (on Windows under %APPDATA%) and in folders you choose. They are never uploaded by the app:
- Settings (theme and language)
- Automatic recovery copy of the project you are working on
- Log files for troubleshooting: one file per day, only the last 5 kept, up to 4 MB each. Your home-folder path is replaced with “~”.
- Pictures you open, projects you save (.emote) and emote files you export (by default in an “EmoteMaker” folder on your Desktop)
- Optional parts packs you add yourself
You can delete any of these files at any time. Uninstalling the app does not read or send them.
Your pictures
Pictures you open are processed only on your computer by fixed, rule-based code. They are not uploaded, not shared, and not used to train AI. EmoteJelly does not use AI while you use it.
Steam
EmoteJelly is sold on Steam. When it starts, the Steamworks library checks with the Steam client on your PC that the app is licensed. That exchange is between you and Valve and is covered by the Steam Privacy Policy. EmoteJelly does not use Steam achievements, cloud saves, Workshop or any feature that sends your content to us.
If you email us
If you contact us at [email protected], we use your email address and what you send (for example a log file you choose to attach) only to answer you. We do not add you to mailing lists or give your email to anyone. We delete support emails within one year after the inquiry is closed, unless a law requires us to keep them longer.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal information. We do not use outside companies to process personal information for the app.
Your rights
You may ask us at any time to show, correct or delete any email correspondence we hold about you. Write to [email protected]; we will answer within 10 days.
Children
The app does not collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
